Data Protection & Records Retention Policy
Elevation Collective is committed to safeguarding personal, financial, and program-related information in compliance with applicable privacy and data protection laws. The Organization collects only information necessary for legitimate organizational purposes, including program delivery, communication, compliance, and reporting.
Reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards are implemented to protect data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Records are retained in accordance with federal and Michigan recordkeeping requirements and destroyed securely when no longer required.
Access to confidential information is limited to authorized individuals with a legitimate need to know. Any breach or suspected breach of data security shall be promptly investigated and addressed.
Program Participation & Liability Waiver
Participation in Elevation Collective programs, services, workshops, and events is entirely voluntary. Participants acknowledge that activities may involve physical, emotional, or educational components and agree to assume all risks associated with participation, except as prohibited by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by Michigan law, participants release and hold harmless Elevation Collective, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or losses arising from participation. This waiver does not apply to gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Participants agree to comply with program rules and behavioral standards. Elevation Collective reserves the right to remove any participant whose conduct is deemed disruptive, unsafe, or inconsistent with organizational values.
